We just bought a house with a backyard and are very excited to design a potted garden on the back porch and also an herb garden in the yard--really, just all kinds of stuff.
I currently have herbs in pots in an apartment and am having trouble with my english lavender. The soil is a mixture of sand and potting soil is insure proper drainage and the whole pot drains into rocks that it sits on. I can't figure it out. If someone has an idea???
