Living in the San Francisco Bay area for over 30 years, planning a move to the South Padre Island / Port Isabel region of southernmost Texas. Have been a renter most of my life, always improved the landlords property by installing gardens. Currently have an 8 year old garden situated on a well used deer path.
My garden is Mediterranean for the most part but I am a huge fan of the amazing plants and bulbs from South Africa and am always looking to add to my collection.
Moving to south Texas will give me a chance to plant tropicals, a big big draw for me.
