My family lives about 400 feet from the Pacific Ocean in far northern coastal California. We have large vegetable gardens, perennial beds, a fruit tree espalier, a hothouse for tomatoes and cucumbers, a greenhouse for seed starting, and are continually tinkering,weeding, and building. Javan
