I've just begun my pond (July 2001). I'm nervous about it; so much to learn. I have a wonderful husband who provided me with the finances to start this new hobby and 2 new grandchildren. I've been a competitive tennis player for almost 20 years, but life is too full. I live in the middle of our city, and my pond is my attempt to create a place of peace, quiet and tranquility, since I'll probably never get to live in the country.
