I love flowers and grow them for their beauty and the peace I find in working in the garden. I also compete in Garden Club shows, working on designs with fresh, dried, or fresh and dried materials. I'm always looking for good ideas on new plants and conditioning cuts for long-lasting vase life. If you are a competition designer, please send me a note; I really want to learn more about those designs. It seems that most competition designs are quite different from bouquets sold at farmer's markets, etc. Do you see that the same way?
