On our 3/4 acre small-town property, Richard and I are slowly learning the ropes of organic gardening and beginning to talk about self-sufficiency. Our garden is in its second year, and, although we make more mistakes than I care to admit, we love every minute it. Our goals for the new year include a garden pond, asparagus and strawberry beds, a kiwi arbor and some kind of greenhouse. We are also studying seed saving and hope to buy seeds for the last time this spring. Drop me a line and we'll chat :)
