I originally gardened in New England for many years, (loam/gravel) then in Florida for 15 years (sand, sand and more sand!). Gardening in both places was different and challenging. I?m finding that Georgia gardening is also different (red clay).
I don?t know much about Central Georgia gardening, soil, etc. but I?m slowly learning. I prefer bulbs, perennials and shrubs for color and easy maintenance.
I?ve been on the forum since the Spring of 2005 and with everyone?s help I?m starting to understand things a little better.
