I am currently in Iraq. This place is so desolate it makes me sad. I had a weed that I was growing, it was the only green thing for miles, and someone pulled it out of the ground. While I am passing my time serving here, I like to read gardening books. I am looking forward to getting back stateside so I can be a more effective member of this community. Pleasure to meet you all! I live in Oregon stateside. After this deployment I plan on spending a lot of time in the garden. I am really interested in organic gardening and Heirloom seeds. I still have so much to learn.
