I have been gardening for 25 years in my suburban back yard in Minnesota. I am primarily a shade gardener, but dabble in some sunny's, too, primarily daylilly.

Hostas are my favorite plants for all the right reasons.

I enjoy trying new varities of plants and am excited by the rare and unusual. I also place a large value on the tried & true.

Learning how others do things in their own gardens is interesting and sharing cuttings, seeds and experiances is a pleasure.
