Im a 21 year old new gardener. My family moved to 15 horribly infertile acres of pine forest a few years ago. Weve planted one acre of organic (not quite certified yet) commercial blueberries and Ive been planting gardens and orchards around sporadically as well as raising and selling pastured chickens. Katrina messed us up a bit but were getting back on our feet. My goal is to become as food self-sufficent as possible. Love to hear from folks interested in becoming self-sufficient or anyone else!
