I am interested in any sort of edible that can be grown in my zone, and some that can't! I have a rather large vegetable garden, and am working on adding a 'potager' (decorative kitchen garden) to our front yard. This will contain mostly edibles, but also flowers & plants for the birds. I also have chickens, and someday hope to have bees. I do take a summer off from gardening occassionally, to backpack. Most recently (2001), my husband & I hiked the entire Appalachian Trail.
