Im a former tomboy raised on a farm who loved nothing better than being outside getting dirty in one way or another or even better, in every way possible as a young child. As I got older, (i.e., moody teenager who was tired of all the work involved in farming)I declared that Id never have anything to do with anything even remotely related to farming when I was grown and on my own. Well, a couple of years ago I decided to plant a few flowers just to add some color to the yard and now gardening has become somewhat of an obsession. Im still in the early years...planting, killing most everything THEN taking the time to actually learn and prepare before planting and trying again...thats where Im at now. Ive got a small garden but HUGE dreams!!
