Hi...I moved to Cape Cod year round about 3 years ago with a special purpose and goal to create a really nice periennial garden. Ths is my first garden and its been a learning experience! I tended to succumb to initial plant buying lust, only having backed off this past year when the finances could not continue that way. My garden has typical wildflowers and cottage garden flowers that I think look especially lovely in a seaside area as the Cape: purple coneflower, shasta daisies,black eyed susans, coreopsis, hollyhoke,yarrow, delphinium, foxglove, 2 peonies, daylilies and tiger lilies, sedum, irises and astilbes for the shade. Other things I like are reading, beachgoing, art cinema movies ( I love Cape Cinema!), live bluegrass and folk music and travel. I hope to get to know and correspond with fellow northeast coastal gardeners.
