I have gardened all of my life. In May, I moved near the St. Croix River on the Minnesota/Wisconsin border. My new backyard is overgrown with buckthorn, poison ivy and has about 10 years worth of garden trash that needs to be cleaned out. IT IS HEAVEN!

Unfortunately, during the move I hurt my back, so I am doing my best to not start digging. To console myself I work on the new garden plan and anticipate the challenges of the soil and wildlife.
