I'm 48. Married 28 years and have one son, who is 25 and lives in NY. I became interested in backyard birding two years ago, but it became an obsession within the last year. Gardening and digital photography seem to all go hand in hand. I've just recently had my backyard certified with the National Wildlife Federation and have counted 29 different species of birds that have visited my backyard since beginning this exciting hobby.
