I come from a mother who was never into gardening but had grandparents who did and since I spent the latter months of the summer with them (they wanted the grandkids around during the late summer to help with harvest, I later learned :) )and I caught the bug from them. I have had plants as long as I could remember, but this year is my first vegetable garden.
