I live in upstate New York, where I work as a school social worker. I began primarily with a vegetable garden when I lived on a much larger property, but now flowers are my passion. I enjoy starting as many as I can from seed (both annuals and perennials), and delight in sharing the "extras" with friends.

I am an advocate of organic gardening, and believe strongly that "if you feed the soil, it will feed your plants."
