Hi!

I live in rural Hillsborough County, FL - just north of the Manatee County line. My favorite plants change from season to season, year to year, and over the longer span of years - but always would make a list too long to write here. I garden on a little over 2 acres and have been planted in the same yard for 17 years.

Even though I moved from "up north" 30 years ago I still whine at being unable to have all the spring bulbs, lilacs, foxgloves and other favorites. I am sure that if I ever went back I would whine at the loss of citrus, bananas, hibiscus and other lovelies. I want it all!

I am a stay at home wife with just my son left at home - my two older daughters have flown the nest. Other than gardening I like to do fiber crafts, word games, read, and anything else that appeals at the moment.
