Iam married with 2 grown boys. My husband and myself have a large yard with a fish pond with aquatic plants. My yard and patio are filled with flowers. We have a pool with flowers on the deck. Our back yard has a retention pond. There are 15 homes that surround the retention pond. Most homes around the pond have fire pits and paddle boats and canoes. Most people that come to our house say if they lived here they would never go on vacation again. They would just stay right here. It really is beautiful and very restful. My garden is filled with both perennials and annuals. I tend to change my yard and pick different things for different summers. I have learned a lot about floweres and there upkeep by doing this. Because we are getting older now, we are trying to start adding more and more perennials. I am not as comfortable with the ones that are straggly. I like neat and very colorful.
