I have been a "lurker" on this site for several years. I have two grown children, a dear husband of 30 years and two beloved springer spaniels. I have been gardening my own homes and as a helper to family and neighbors since I was a small child. I love flower and vegetable gardens, roses, trees, flowering shrubs -virtually anything that grows. I have an equal passion for home decor/remodeling, which is a good thing as we just recently moved again! I have gardened in northern and southern Ohio, coastal New Hampshire and Maine and I now need to learn about gardening in Alabama.
