I'm married with a grown daughter who is out on her own. I have a Westie and a Cat that keep me from being a \"empty nester.\" I'm an antique dealer, and the asst. editor of newspaper on the antique trade. I'm active in my Garden Club, and enjoy gardening.

I grow my veggies, herbs and flowers organically, and I'm a avid composter. I love the forums, and I don't really know which ones I like best.

I have just started growing gourds, and can't wait for them to dry so I can use them for crafts. My first projects will be bird houses.

I just moved to my current home 3 years ago, and had to leave my old garden and plants behind and start over with new gardens. We have a very large yard, and the soil isn't very good. So we have been gardening in raised beds, and working on building better soil.

I just completed my Master gardening Training & it was wonderful. Now I'm looking forward do doing some volunteer work for the county extension.
