Bought my Scott's S2048 in the Spring of 2001. It was on clearance for $2,000 but I got an additional 10% off that. It was a left over 2000 model, but brand new. It has the 20HP Kohler twin and Tuff Torq K62 hydro. I live on 5 acres and mow about 2 of them - thick wet grass below the pond and lots of slopes and woods. If I had more time (and money) I'd buy something old like a FarmAll just to play around with.
