Married, three children, four grandkids. Recently retired and eager but novice to gardening.
Have had problems with Cyprus Trees and borers during the draught several years ago. One other evergreen tree, that looked like it might have survived the borers, is lately plagued with spider webs and lots of brown and dry under growth. The tip of the branches are still green at this time.
Was wondering if one can hire a professional tree person, for a one time visit, to analyze the trees and give suggestions what to plant in my garden.
Have had good luck with two rose bushes, they thrived despite occasional neglect. Also have had very good luck with cymbidiums, 5 large bullet proof planters, with a minimum of effort they are blooming their little hearts out. Started seven very large planters of native northern california coastel plants, am trying not to frown them. Have purchased a water measure instrument, and am using it daily until such time that I can tell by looking at the plants wether they need water or not.
Any names of professional tree people in my Union City, California area are warmly appreciated.
