I moved into this house since 1999. The house is surrounded by four very large trees in the neighbour's yard. So I've been learning how to grow in the shade. But that doesn't stop me from trying out roses. Recently, I took up a corner lot in the "green street program". FULL SUN!! YES! Now I can grow all the sun loving plants again!
