Im from Lower Alabama--where the mosquitoes run rampant; the humidity curls your hair; when it rains, it pours; when its dry, it bedrock to dig thru. I am blessed to have a wide-as-the-house deep front and back porch to sit and gaze at the gardens, enjoy the singing of the birds, and sip fresh-squeezed lemonade with sprigs of mint, chatting with neighbors, friends, and family. I enjoy perennial gardening; old-fashioned companion plantings like hollyhocks, daylilies, damask roses, hostas, herbs of all kinds,and many more!I also enjoy creating little rooms in my gardens, where I can go and imagine the faeries and gnomes visiting there, where one can go to have a quiet time with the Master, or read a book or just sit and savor the blessed gardens!
