l have always been interested in plants, since l was a child, but l have spent my working life, living above the shop,with no garden.I now enjoy, a garden and a cottage, which l have inherited from my parents,in a beautiful part of the countryside,in central England.The property is on high ground, and the garden slopes down at the rear of the house towards the valley beyond,the views are wonderful,and are only separated from my garden, by a little low, open fence,which is very handy for the local rabbit population.The garden is divided into different areas,my small front garden...The herb garden...The Middle Lawn,with a little waterway, which flows through a Japanese inspired area, down through the rockery and into the pool... The Greenhouse and a small vegetable area... and the lower garden of lawn and flower borders.l just love aquiring new plants,l can't resist them,and l keep finding room. l grow plants from seed and propagate from those l have.l am so interested, that l keep a garden diary of everything that happens, in the garden,and a photographic record on the computer of each plant l have.
