I've been growing A.G. pumpkins for 7 years. This is my first serious year however as I'm going for the state record. ND is a very big aggricultural state with a good climate and very fertile soil, so it shocks me that our record is only 500lbs.

It is a fun, personal challenge for me to do this. My neighbors, family, friends, etc. think I'm crazy for thinking I can grow a pumpkin greater than 500lbs. So naturally this fuels my desire to prove that I can.
