I worked for 10 years as a cut flower grower in California. Now Im selling orchids. My husband and I are building a house on top of a hill surrounded by manzanita and other beautiful natives. We are working very hard to be as gentle on the environment as possible. I havent had much experience growing natives, but I look forward to the challenge. My husband worked very hard at transplanting as many of the manzanitas as possible before the grading began for our house site.
