My name is Bob, I am 58, married very happily to a Filipina and have two boys at home and a Jack Russell "terror". I have always being interested in doing "something different" and am now trying my hand at germinating bamboo, namely Moso. I purchased about 600 seeds in December from Germany and so far only 12 (about 2 percent) have germinated. I will not give up! Anyone had good luck germinating Moso? How long should I continue to care for seeds until I should give up on germination? And the ones that did come up and have leaves, the tips turned brown, too much water or light? I sure could use some good advice..........
