I am in school for landscape architecture and I am an avid and fairly knowledgable gardener and garden enthusiast.

Basically, plants my hobby, obsession and profession.

Some of my favorite plants are leucadendron, brachysema, abutillon, brugmansia, baumea, corokia, bambusa 'Alphonse Carr' and vulgaris 'Vitata', and most palms.

I became obsessed with palms not by choice, but because of a career move that forced me into them. I used to not care much for them and thought that there was about two or three different types, but now I can name nearly any palm I run into. I tested this knowledge in Kuaii last year and did pretty well considering the difference in what grows there and here in San Francisco.
