I m a lot older than I used to be and can t do a lot of digging anymore...if I bend over to tie my shoe, often I wonder why I m down there; however, if in the yard will pull any nearby weed before tying the shoe.
I m active in my garden circle and in the Garden Club of Jacksonville. Daily, I m pulling Boston fern which wants to take over my yard and pulling up shoots from the mock orange. The tree is lovely, a white fountain in spring, but its determination to propogate is about to defeat me. If I had known how it invades, I d have planted it in a tub.
Bonsai is my current hobby..usually in sphagnum moss instead of soil. Eldest bonsai is a double red hibiscus, now going into its 16th year.
Nuff said...now I want post a picture of some lilies, hoping someone can identify them for me. Ann
