I learned to love gardening from my mother who was still excited about looking for new things to order from the seed catalogs she got in the mail when she was 90 years old. I was born, raised and lived in Nevada for all but 9 years of my life until last spring when I moved to the Austin, Texas area. I am enjoying the challenge of putting in new gardens and seeing what does well and what does not.
