I live with my husband and son, neither or who gives a hoot about anything growing. I drag them out to the garden regularly to check out a new flower or the like and can't understand why they don't get as excited as me. I love my garden. I have a tropical like garden out the front. It looks after itself, but out the back, I am working on a cottage type garden. The mornings are my fav time in the garden. I get into trouble for getting up so early, but there is nothing more special than getting in the garden with the morning sun glistening on the dew that has settled overnight. I love my roses, I love my herbs and perenials and I love my annuals. I just want more and more, but alas, space, water restrictions and time restrictions mean I have to enjoy what I have for the time being. Can't wait till I retire! It's the closest to heaven you can be without really being there!
