I just love to be out in the yard, whether Im planting, mowing, weeding or just "strolling", if Im outside in my yard Im happy. I have a 3-year-old and 7-year-old son that Im teaching how to plant, water, etc so hopefully we will have another full-fledge gardener in our midst soon!

I tend to become fixated on a specific plant type for a few weeks/months and then move on to something else. Since we purchased a new house a couple of years ago with no landscaping I have had to design and plant all of the landscaping. I have researched and planted trees, shrubs, ornamental trees (including japanese maples), roses, day lilies, aquatic plants, succulents, hydrangeas and of course, many, many perennials and annuals.

My next house will have to include some acreage so I will have plenty of space for all of the items I want to plant.
