Well what can I say. Have a job that drives me to distraction and so have a garden to keep me sane. Live on the coast have poor soil and salt laden air. Adopted an old garden that was NOT waterwise or pleasing to the eye. Have bull dozed it and replanted with all native indiginous species for my area. Now we have birds and little visitors in my soil! Get so excited when I find a worm!
Have planted some lovely plants, correas, poas, pig face creepers, euky dwarf trees. Now I potter and watch it all grow. Next mission I have accepted is the back garden, we have a 1/4 acre block so this is no mean feat to tackle! I am relishing the opportunity to bring the wildlife into our garden and provide them with a safe haven in the burbs. Down with iceberg standard roses and box hedges I say!
