Hmmm...I am an illustrator by passion and trade. I collect hostas although I hardly have a "collection" compared to some of the MONDO WHOPPER collectors on the forum. I'm silly, by my nature, as my 2 sons just need me that way. My oldest son, Sean, is 8 and is autistic but the smartest, greatest person I have ever known. My youngest, Gabriel, is pure energy and endless will. He shadows me around the garden squashing fireflies (by accident) and gently cupping flowers in his hand saying "oh, that's a prettty flowwwer!"

He's 3, and yep. Sometimes I havta go to bed early just to keep up with him the next day. And yep. When my energy gets low in the day, we share Buzz Lightyear fruit snacks.

I also drink wine...lots and lots of wine and talk to my hostas and other shade perennials while I am drinking it or when I think they need cheering up or encouragement or when I do. :)

And, no illustrator could call herself that without some humorous yet revealing self-portrait...some days I have no idea what my hair is doing. :(
