After years of having no garden at all, I am starting out small with a container garden on my patio of spring bulbs. Some have begun to send up leaves and I am excited about seeing what will bloom first.
I live on the Pacific Coast of WA in a temporate rainforest. We get close to 200 in. of rain a year. Since I'm new to the area I'll be doing some research to see what will bloom here and stand up to the rain.
I have some training in landscape design and enjoy doing it just for fun.
I also enjoy reading, oil painting and various handcrafts.
