My big old Edwardian house is surrounded by large mature trees, a stunning Japanese maple in front, an enormous magnolia to the south and a dying Montery pine in back.(Planted on an artificial hillock with a miniature Japanese maple underneath)as part of a formal Japanese garden that no longer existed when we bought the house. The original owners were certainly interred during WWII.

There is very little land and almost no sun so I grow fushias, ferns and hydrangas.

Redid my kitchen in 03 with much help from the Kitchen board. Don't own a diital camera and don't know how to post my Kodak CD pix.

Am an avid baker and total foodie, and continual dieter when not indulging. Found this great site from a wonderful person on chowhound. Started a cookbook book club this year & have been lurking on the cooking site. (Finally joined.)
