I am an old guy of 65 years. I have been loving flowers since I was very young, perhaps 3 or 4 years old. I can remember sniffing a rose in a neighbor's garden back then and losing my heart to roses and other flowers.
I live alone. I am divorced, with two grown children and seven grandchildren. My name is Vernon Johnson and I live in the grand village of Mesena,Ga.
I am president of two local plant societies, the Thomson Rose Society, and the Iris and Daylily Society. We have shows for both clubs every year.
I am employed by a carpet store as a purchasing agent.
I enjoy life. I live in a little cottage on a two acre lot.
