My husband and I are new to Florida...from Buffalo NY. He has his own maintenance business and I'm a nurse. We loved to garden up north and would like to learn all we can about the year round gardening available here in Florida.

We're renting right now so we tried to spruce up the yard with local natural flora. The prettiest tree my husband replanted in our yard turned out to be a type of sumac! Needless to say it got uprooted rather quickly after we found out what it was.
