Love to garden! I live in western NY zone 5B, between Buffalo and Rochester. Ten years ago we moved into our house with 40 acres. We've got a pond, woods, meadows, and even swamp on the back property line. We plan to live here for the rest of our lives, so I am willing to spend the time, money, and energy to make my own private Eden. My ambitions outstrip my time, but I find it incredibly fulfilling. I'm raising my kids to love the garden.
