Retired with lots of time, but little money. Interested in many things such as vegetable gardening, doing a lot with little through recycling, Jacob Mittleider gardening methods, hydroponics, greenhouse gardening and the like. I'm 63, married to an very tolerant wife, Joy. I say tolerant because it is incredible what she puts up with. We've recently downsized to a 800 sq. ft. home with 1 bedroom and 1 bath from a 2500 sqft 5 br, 2bth, impossible to keep clean and maintained, two story house. Our tiny backyard will soon sport a new greenhouse, potting shed, compost pile, raised growing beds, etc. Anyway, it's fun finding out the reasons why we were attracted to each other all over again. Living in close proximity reminds us of those long ago days.
