Hi, I am single mom whose daughter just turned 21. I am trying to spend a bit more time on the garden/backyard that I have pretty much neglected. I loved it when I moved in but had no idea how much work was involved! Still, I have come to love the hands-in-dirt feeling and have learned a lot about the plants around me (which is not saying much from where I started, I guess, but still). :) I heard about winter sowing while visiting my brother in Long Island and collected Montauk daisy and rose of sharon seeds. So I am trying that this year and also would like to try trading for other things.
