5 years at this location, and starting to see some improvement but a work in progress. It is @1/3 acre of prior flood plane of LA river. The soil is good and I'm working at improving it. Mostly edible, and fragrant plants. I plan to live here 'for the duration'. I'll pass gracefully into my senility here and when I die have my ashes put in my compost pile.
