I always think I'm not a domestic person, but then I do things like spend three days painting and faux-finishing my office and decorating it with ethnic art and pretty lamps so it's warm and homey.

I love to garden, but my efforts generally result in abject chaos by mid-season. It looks a lot like the inside of my house! I think I've managed to put together a garden made up of the most aggressive plants possible. The mint, sweet peas, and morning glories are duking it out right now.

I'll be getting married in 2004, date TBD. I've been with my boyfriend for almost ten years. I think it's time to seal the deal.

I had two cats, but one died in January 2003. She was 19 years old. Her buddy is still alive. He's 18, but he's going downhill pretty rapidly. Sigh. Good friends like this are hard to come by, and my cats (a.k.a. substitute children) have been some of the best company I've known.
