The best thing in the whole wide world is lazy hours pottering in my vege patches, discovering little jobs that need to be done, getting interrupted by littler jobs before becoming sidetracked by jobs littler still and finally getting around to that first little job right at the end of the day before pouring myself a large frothy mug of home brewed ale and gazing with contentment at it all. I am teaching my kids these important things but they must be content with small cups of frothy milk for the time being.
