I started my first real garden when my family moved into this house 7 years ago and things have changed so much since then.

I love learning about effective design and what makes beautiful gardens beautiful. I'm branching out into tropical-look plants and I grow a kitchen garden with heirloom tomatoes and other vegetables; I have a new bed for cutting flowers. I love exuberant, bursting, overflowing, climbing plant growth.

I live with my Man In Docs, our two children, a black Lab and 4 cats in the Puget Sound.
