I live on a canyon rim with a million $$ view, and an old oak tree below with several generations of birds and wildlife who use it as a home or resting spot.

My borders and container gardens are my sanctuary.....one I happily share with the locals. (Gophers do not count, ok?)

My ex-husband, who did not share my love of gardening..... began jokingly referring to my plants as weeds. He's now retired and fishing somewhere in Mississippi...alone...LOL.

My idea of a good time is to relax on my deck at the end of a nice sunny day, drink some lemonade and enjoy the quiet......while watching the woodpeckers, hummers, and hawks go about their business.

Ahhh, yes.....and hanging out with other folks who understand the language of flowers.....
