In Aug 05 went to Venice Italy in hopes of emigrating and starting a new garden on an island in the lagoon. That didn't work out, so am back on the farm on the 49th parallel. For now at my parents' farm, moving my old mediterraneanish garden 1 mile west from a full sun gravel hill to a clearing in the giant forest on a loamy clay springfilled hill. I never knew digging drainage could be so much....fun!!
