Ive been in my house three years now and have been working hard to transform the yards, front, back and sides, into my own haven. Its finally coming along.
I grow a lot of roses. I dont get as much sun as I need for them to do spectacular but I dont care. I grown them anyway, and most of them do quite well.
I winter sow seeds, attend plant swaps, and scrounge every nursery I see, in additon to ordering a few of my lovelies on-line.
I really want to leave Michigan in a couple years and head to North or South Carolina. My son will be in college by then and there will be nothing keeping me in Michigan. Im not into winter.....and its long here.
